LCD Character Display Modules

Displaytech LCD Character Display Modules are designed to generate 16 to 20 characters on up to four lines. Displaytech displays are available in super-twisted nematic (STN) or film-compensated super-twisted nematic (FSTN) LCD modes with or without an LED backlight. Backlight color options are Yellow, White, Blue, Pure Green, or Amber. The modules have outer dimensions that range from 80mm x 36mm to 116mm x 37mm. Viewing areas range from 66mm x 16mm to 85mm x 18.6mm. The 162M series have a 122mm x 44mm outer dimension with a 99mm x 24mm viewing area.

Displaytech 64128KX LCD Module

Displaytech Displaytech 64128KX LCD Module features a 50mm x 25mm viewing area and a 128 x 64 resolution. This FSTN (Film-Compensated Super Twisted Nematic) LCD module includes a Sitronix ST7565R Chip-On-Glass (COG) Controller and a Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) interface. The ST7565R is a single-chip dot matrix LCD driver that can be connected directly to a microprocessor bus. 8-bit parallel or 4-line SPI display data sent from the microprocessor is stored in the internal display data RAM, and the chip generates a LCD drive signal independent of the microprocessor.
